Biography – The RVH Project
Explosive. Melodic. Unapologetically powerful. The RVH Project has rapidly emerged as one of the most exciting new forces in modern rock. What began in 2021 as the solo vision of bassist and vocalist Rick van Heuzen has evolved into a dynamic, hard-hitting band completed by guitar virtuoso Orion Roos and powerhouse drummer Gerry de Graaf.
Inspired by the iconic rock sound of the ’70s and ’80s and elevated with a bold modern edge, the band reached a major milestone with the release of their highly anticipated new album Land of the Damned, officially launched on October 30th. Recorded at the legendary Spitsbergen Studio, the album delivers ten explosive tracks full of high-energy riffs, soaring melodies, and emotional depth—pushing the band’s sound further than ever before.
Special guest John “Jaycee” Cuijpers (Praying Mantis, Ayreon) lends his unmistakable voice to three standout tracks, adding even more power and distinction to the record.
Following their critically praised 2022 release Enter the Machine, Land of the Damned shows a band on a rapid upward trajectory—sharper, heavier, and more emotionally charged. In the fall of 2025, the lineup expanded with the addition of guitarist and singer Armand Wijskamp, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for The RVH Project as they continue to conquer stages, airwaves, and rock fans worldwide.
